You will notice that this issue of Wheaton magazine does not comment on the COVID-19 pandemic that has swept across the globe. The magazine makes no such comment because it was finished and going to press at the same time that the College made its historic decision to extend spring break for students by one week and then resume classes through virtual teaching for the remainder of the semester.
This issue of Wheaton magazine, then, feels like it is from a different time—a time when the hallways, dining hall, pathways, and lecture halls of campus teemed with people. Not so today.
Nevertheless, I think this issue's articles are well worth your read. The article on Masters of Craft is of particular interest because Wheaton's facilities department has diligently continued its faithful and skilled work through this time of uncertainty.
